Rainbow Bridge Crossings

Frosty's Kids Waiting at Rainbow Bridge

Below are pictures of beloved Frosty's kids who have crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

This is Tasha our very first mom. She was our first adult to be rehomed and it ended tragically. She was not put on a leash and when she got to her new home she ran off and was hit by a car and killed. We are blessed to have two of her daughters in our family. One my son owns and one my daughter owns. We are also able to see another daughter several times a year as we sit for her. Her son also lives close and we get to see him on occasion an receive updates regularly. Tasha was very much loved and will be missed. Born Aug. 27, 2004 - Died Dec. 2, 2006. RIP

Frosty's Queen Natasha

This is little Quasimodo. When his mom chewed the umbilical cord she accidentally bit too close causing a tear in his stomach. We tried saving him but there was too much damage. Born April 20, 2007 - Died April 22, 2007. RIP

Quasimodo

Our sweet little Archie had a rough start to his all too short life. He had to be delivered through c-section after many hours of momma Amanda trying to give birth to him naturally. He finally made it into the world at 7pm on Aug. 22, 2007 with a strong heartbeat and will to live. Tragically just two days later he had inadvertently been crushed or stepped on by mom. He was rushed to the vet's and given oxygen, antibiotics and a cortisone shot. His heartbeat was still strong but the damage was too severe and after a courageous struggle that lasted several hours he finally gave up and crossed the rainbow bridge. RIP precious Archie! You will be missed! Born Aug. 22, 2007 - Died Aug 24, 2007. RIP

Archie
