Nicki is 5 years old as of May 1st. He is a really sweet boy who loves to give kisses. He does like to grumble at the other male dogs in the house but he doesn't get into fights with them. Probably won't do it if he's the only male dog in the house. He is house broken, crate trained, PRA clear and is not neutered yet. He was raised around kids with his previous owner though I have not had him around any children since I got him to see how he does with them. We have found that he requires a very gentle hand. If you rough him up say while drying him off after a bath he will get upset. Not sure why as we did not raise him. He might do best as an only dog or with just one or two others. Sugar Belle - Up For Adoption!

Sugar is a little girl we took as "pick of the litter" out of a whelping that was supposed to be with someone's female and our male. Unfortunately the other "breeders" did not inform us that the female had already bred accidently to their daughter's dog (a mixed breed) until after we had DNA testing done to proove she was not from our males. She is not a purebred dachshund however she has the dachshund spirit! She is a sweetheart and unfortunately the family who begged us to let them have her (friends of my kids) have since had a change of heart and released her back to us. She is spayed, housebroken, on heartworm and flea prevention,had her heart worm test for the year (which was negative) and rabies vaccine. She weighs 16 lbs 8 oz.
