About Us

We had purchased a 2 year old male that was a proven stud in Oct. of 2003 and started breeding him with the females of an older couple we met in 2004. We have since developed a strong devotion to the betterment of the breed and decided that we wanted to have our own females to breed with instead of outside ones. We started seriously researching the breed and began our own breeding program in 2005. We are constantly researching information on the Dachshund breed as well as dog breeding in general so that we may provide the best quality pets and show prospects we possibly can.

We home raise all our Dachshunds and they are all treated like members of the family. Our pups are well socialized, healthy and happy critters when they go to their new homes. Below are some pictures of the normal day to day activities here at Frosty's. Enjoy!

During the day the "kids" alternate between playing in their yard (digging for moles or chasing squirrels) or hanging out under "mom's" chair. Heheheh!

The couch potatoes! Every evening around 7 or 8pm the "kids" and I hit the couch for some R&R&R (rest, relaxation and recorded tv)! LOL

Finally it's time to prepare for bed! The "kids" are always the first in the bed and dad and I spend the rest of the night fighting for a scrap of bed space and covers! LOL!
