![]() I know we recently said we were done with breeding and had whelped our final litter but a good friend and wonderful breeder, Jeremy Carder of Carder's Miniature Dachshunds has asked us to mate our beautiful girl Skyler to his handsome boy Starbuck for our final litter. And we allowed Taylor to be bred to Hart as she was so wanting to be motherly to Dakota's pups we thought she would like one last litter to raise before retiring. Her pups arrived June 17th. See the puppies page for details. We also have a couple adults we are looking to rehome so check out the adults page if you'd prefer an older more settled dog. With that said, we have completely enjoyed raising the dogs and pups that we have since starting our breeding program in 2005 (WOW hard to believe it's been 5 years already!!!) and meeting the families who have become part of our family by adopting a FrostyDachs pup or older dog! It has been a sweet ride and one we will never forget! Remember, those of you who have made one of our "kids" and/or "grandkids" one of your own family members, that we will always be here for you for the life of your pet and beyond! Never hesitate to contact us if you need something or if you just want to send us updates! We LOVE updates! Gods bless to all! Welcome to our west central Florida dachshund domain where you'll find home raised and hand spoiled miniature long coat dachshunds! We hope you enjoy your visit and please come and see us often! We bred for the love of Dachshunds so that we could share the greatest gift in life with others. There is no greater love or loyalty found anywhere in the world than through that of a dog and Dachshunds are our personal favorites. We home raised our doxies here in Brooksville, Florida with lots of love and attention. We own a home based sign business which "paid the bills" so we were never into breeding for the money but for the betterment of the breed and to share the love. We bred for conformation, temperament and health. Our females were only breed 2 or 3 times before retiring and were never bred more than twice in a row as per our vet's advice. We kept (and still keep) all our Dachshunds (even the retired ones still living with us) up to date on shots, check-ups, etc. to assure the health of all our precious babies. Pups were well socialized while in our care to assure the best and most easy going dachsie temperament. As per Florida law we charge, collect and pay sales tax on all puppies/dogs sold. The sales tax rate for our area is 6.5% and that is what will be charged unless we deliver the pup to your residence at which time it would be based on the sales tax rate for your area.
Pray for PeaceArtist Larry Merrill (www.dogeachday.com) did a beautiful rendering of our #1 son, Ollie. Thanks Larry! We love it! ![]()
